Refractory ceramic fibers
Ceramic fibers are used for thermal insulation in the temperature range of 1000 to 1700 ° C. These fibers are produced through blowing and melt centrifugation of aluminum oxide-silica combination, etc. Thus, the melt flow is converted into small droplets by blowing compressed air, and in the continuation of the process, using centrifugal force, the rotating rollers are converted into fibers of different lengths (maximum 250 mm). The composite fibers are white and amorphous (non-crystalline) and have excellent fire resistance and insulating power and can be converted into various shapes for various industrial applications.
Another type of these materials are Bio soluble Fibers. BSFs are alkaline earth silicate fibers with high acid resistance that are absorbable in the body and can be used in sensitive environmental conditions.
